There’s always one… Albo is Australia’s (global) village idiot.
For proof of this, he received the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Award, handed to him at the Waldorf Astoria during UN General Assembly week. Apparently, it indicates Albo is one of the leading and influential they/them statespersons.
It didn’t come cheap. And I’m not talking about the $4,000-a-night ballroom on Park Avenue.
Papua New Guinea’s James Marape introduced our proud houso-boy-turned-Copacabana-PM as a ‘fair dinkum Aussie’.
As I watched Albo stand between Keanu Reeves and a Formula One executive, I could not help but think this is the same old vanguard of the dictatorship of the proletariat that has failed in every instance throughout history.
Once the communist-curious Labor politicians get a taste of wealth and power, they lean more toward entitled champagne socialism than the working-class.
Then the Internationale gives them a gong, and the ego trip sends them off with the fairies.
When it comes to this celebrated global influence, the trouble for Albo is that he isn’t leading a middle power. Which means he can’t lead the middle powers in some type of suicidal empathy. He has reduced Australia to a nothing power.
Seriously. Such is the influence of our government on the global geopolitical stage that it is trying to sell off Victoria Barracks. Aaron Patrick reported recently that a handful of faceless bureaucrats are preventing the publication of the history of Australia in the Afghanistan War. Albo’s government tried to cap veterans’ allied health support while his ‘care economy’ now spends beyond our means. It’s nuts.
In typical Labor fashion, the government not only tried to reduce support for veterans, it quietly doubled the post-service call-up period of ex-regular and ex-reserve military personnel from five to ten years, beginning on October 1, 2026.
Such hubris is inexcusable.
In my view, Albo is nothing like the venerable Billie Hughes who walked across a table to confront Lloyd George about how Australians would serve in the Great War. Hughes earned the nickname The Little Digger.
Albo has spruiked about his generational free-riding upbringing so much he deserves the title ‘The Little Bludger’. But like Von Moltke’s worst kind of leader, Albanese is both stupid and industrious.
If the awkward questioning he received ahead of his award is anything to go by, perhaps that nickname should actually be, ‘The Little Faker’.
Away from glaring stage lights of the award ceremony, interest rates are about to go up again, housing affordability is going up again, diesel has hit almost $3 (it’s currently 299.99 cents on the Hume Highway), and even the productivity commissioner is saying that things aren’t working too well.
You’d reckon there’d be some reflection.
Instead, The Little Faker is accepting an award ‘on behalf of Australia’.
Like almost every other Aussie, except online Labor bots, I know where he can stick his global citizen award.
And if we consider, as some have suggested, Chris Bowen as his court jester, Jim Chalmers is this country’s Rasputin with a sort of mysticism keeping the Budget books adding up.
Now that Rasputin has fallen out of love with green hydrogen, he’s moved on to Artificial Intelligence. Surely, this will save us from the next 40 years of the doldrums under Labor…!
But what about Albo?
In the military, we had a name for that person who did nothing but managed to turn up at just the right time to make an impression on the boss. We called them poodle fakers.
Anyway, I’ve lost my Fast and the Furious: New York Drift train of thought.
My point is that Albo is a Global Citizen. Surely that means he falls under Section 44 of the Constitution where he can’t be a dual citizen and a federal representative.
Perhaps this can trigger a byelection under Section 44 … or the Australian Border Force might consider denying him entry for a while.
Either way, the hubris this Prime Minister is displaying is beyond all comprehension. I say we let him live in the rest of the world that he loves so much. Perhaps a GoFundMe campaign called Albo for Anywhere Else?
