A quick peek at what’s going on the flip side of feminism – where it’s all about women.

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter, accused of fatally stabbing her partner in their Hamilton Hill home in the Perth burbs. No mention of domestic violence.

A NSW mother had sex with her three young children “to win over men online”. No mention of rape.

The ACT Bar Association says changes to consent laws that would force the accused to prove “active consent” are contrary to a person’s right to a fair trial. The issue is to be discussed in hearings by ACT’s Justice and Community Safety Committee over the next fortnight.

A tweet asking women what they would do if men had a 9 pm curfew went viral. Thousands of women chimed in apparently confusing a curfew for men with a crime-free society. Running with headphones, running at night and drinking without constantly monitoring themselves were popular responses. Clearly becoming an adult and having to take personal responsibility in life is all men’s fault. Ah, male privilege.

Last Saturday a professor at Georgetown University announced that “entitled white” Republican senators who are defending Judge Kavanaugh deserve to die “miserable deaths”. “Look at this chorus of entitled white men justifying a serial rapist’s arrogated entitlement. All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps. Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.”

The FBI background check on Kavanaugh’s past had not even been completed. On Thursday The White House confirmed the FBI had delivered the results of the check to the Senate.

Leftist media (and some right-wing to be fair) don’t appear to have fully grasped the impact this vote on Kavanaugh could have. US President Donald Trump has come down hard on gender politics and it has unnerved many. “The harsh and unfair treatment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is having an incredible upward impact on voters,” Trump wrote on Twitter on October 4. “The PEOPLE get it far better than the politicians.” He added, “Most importantly, this great life cannot be ruined by mean & despicable Democrats and totally uncorroborated allegations!”

This is whole mess is highlighting the great divide between political elites, the media class and the people.

Thanks to the success of the Me Too movement, we have the bizarre spectacle of the most powerful country in the world grinding to a halt over what two teenagers may or may not have got up to in a bedroom more than three decades ago.
