Everything about Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un’s meeting was surreal but lefties acutely bitter reaction is illogical. Yes, we should all be cautiously optimistic at this point. However, the left’s obsession with extreme Trump loathing is excruciating to watch.
Robert De Niro’s F-bombs dropped just hours before Trump began talks in Singapore and exposed Hollywood elites for being no more than vacuous puppets.
“First, I want to say, ‘F**k Trump,” De Niro said at the Tony Awards in New York. “It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump’, it’s ‘F**k Trump.”
Why? Because you hate this man so much you refuse to see any good he may be involved with? How immature.
The Project panel on Tuesday night could offer no more than asking, “can you imagine if this had been Obama who’d pulled this off”, while The Guardian is so far up its own arse it’s still dissecting Trump’s brand of masculinity.
Having pulled off the meeting Trump tweeted at 4:53 pm, “Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to [sic] many shots to the head by real boxers in movies. I watched him last night and truly believe he may be ‘punch-drunk.’ I guess he doesn’t realise the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!”
Not a bad day’s work. Come on, only one of these men deserved to climb into bed with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
The truth is, no one knows what will happen from here. Could this all fall apart? Of course, it could. But to refuse to acknowledge a tiny glimmer of hope and a promising step in the right direction you’re only unveiling unreasonable, unjustifiable and flawed – and frankly, embarrassing prejudice.
