In an article headlined ‘Travelling interstate? Prepare for holiday hell’ by Joel Agius published online on December 20 regarding onerous quarantine restrictions and changes to border closures we incorrectly claimed that Leigh Sales was on a flight to Queensland that was quarantined. The author also suggested that this fact may have influenced the thinking of the Queensland government in changing the definition of ‘close contacts’. We accept that Leigh Sales was not on one of the quarantined flights and apologise to her for that error and any undue embarrassment caused.
