Our perspicacious political insider writes exclusively:
Slip, slop, slap. What an election winning strategy for us CBDs announced by BS over the weekend in the Central Coast of NSW.
Such an Abbottesque pithy encapsulation of Labor’s economic policy in three words. Slip a bit of money here, slop a bit more money over there and slap a big fat tax on anything that moves or is productive.
At last the campaign was in full swing and BS was uncharacteristically honest with the people.
So, yes, it did come as a bit of a disappointment to learn that this was not the economic policy announcement but rather a sun safe policy. But still it was reassuring to learn that the nanny state is alive and well with the would be PM in BS finding it necessary to tell us ,with our money how to dress. And there was the added bonus of the subliminal message that sunlight is bad. The people have to come to this view very quickly for when we CBDs win on May 18.
Who would want sunlight exposing anything to which BS’s government might get up. Let alone his past.
Why have sunlight on those wage cutting deals that saw cleaners, builders, and mushroom pickers lose money in favour of the AWU? Or on the inflated AWU memberships to help rort preselctions
Or who wants sunlight on BS’s skilfully deceitful penalty rates claims which might expose the truth of Labor’s legislation and hand picked Tribunal determining the high rates of pay were actually costing jobs.
And those pesky truth tellers from the hard right might have the audacity to point to the creation of 100,000 new jobs for young people and taking them off the dole.
This sunlight stuff could also have very serious ramifications for Independents Inc if it starts exposing the manipulative campaign by Labor and GetUp!
But not to be outdone the GetUp! mob kindly reminds us it is an organic and grassroots movement. Pity the truth has a habit of emerging showing it is more GMO rather than organic.
CBD will be contributing regularly throughout the campaign.
