As Australia gears up for a federal election, few issues loom larger than energy policy. Prime Minister Albanese’s Labor government is charging ahead with an ambitious green agenda and a promise of Net Zero without delay. The Opposition Coalition, by contrast, urges a more cautious transition, stressing the need to keep the lights on, protect jobs, and even entertaining the once-taboo idea of nuclear power.
