The trigger for this article was a news report that I read over breakfast. It was a hit of déjà vu alarmism regarding polar bears, who have been the poster bears for climate alarmists ever since Al Gore’s 2006 film, An Inconvenient Truth. (Inconveniently, High Court Judge Michael Burton in the UK ruled that the film contained nine scientific errors and thus must be accompanied by an explanation before being shown to school children.
