At first glance, the youth wings of Restore Britain and the Green party would appear to have little in common. The former are angry, undersexed videogamers who only take a break from playing Rome: Total War to type ‘DEPORT’ under viral clips of black kids fighting. The latter are tree-huggers turned ‘Queers for Palestine’ who never leave the house without a culturally appropriated keffiyeh round their necks and the latest Sally Rooney in their Daunt Books tote bag.

Yet there’s something that binds these clashing tribes together – a hyper-suspicion of the Jewish state and in some cases the Jewish people. Among both Restore-supporting youths who dream of one day leaving mother’s box room to wage a new Crusade against the Islamo-hordes, and genderfluid Greens who happily rub shoulders with Islamists who’d throw them off a tall building given half a chance, the cry goes up: the Jewish nation is a pox on the human race. Seriously, it is time we talked about Gen Z Jew hate.

Campaigners have raised concerns about the ‘anti-Semitic views’ of some of the party’s ‘high-profile supporters’. These include Steve Laws, the far-right muppet who dreams of deporting all non-whites from Britain. Including Jews. They’re ‘foreign’, he says, so they need to sling their hooks. Oh, and Hitler was a ‘misunderstood politician’.
Personally I would pay good money to see this bag’o’bones try to deport the black fellas who attend my gym. Get the popcorn. But more to the point, you would expect a party that wants to win the votes of decent Brits to distance itself from a bloke who spews such infantile anti-British rhetoric. Who says sympathetic things about the tyrant who tried to destroy us just three generations ago, and who has the gall to call Jewish Brits – one of our truest, finest minorities – ‘foreigners’.
Not Restore, though. True to their sixth-former slogan — which is ‘We don’t care’ – they seem unbothered by Laws’ wet dreams of a whites-only Blighty. A spokesman refused to say whether Laws is a member. And besides, he said, ‘We are not going to police our membership’. So if there are cranks on Restore’s membership books, the party appears not to mind. Imagine asking working-class Brits for their votes while being so blasé about the possible presence in your ranks of lowlifes who have nice words for the dictator working-class Brits died to defeat.
Meanwhile, a Restore spokesman has been accused of insinuating that Nigel Farage has been bought off by Jewish money. The Jews as the secret puppetmasters of our politics – how original. Another Restore representative resonded by saying the party won’t be bowing to ‘confected outrage’ about anti-Semitism. We don’t go in for ‘minoritarian moral fetishes’, he said. What a damning reflection of Restore’s bourgeois insulation from everyday Brits, that it cannot see how sickened people will be by the branding of anti-Semitism as a ‘fetish’ even as Jews are being knifed to death by Islamists.
If this all sounds familiar it’s because the same cruel nonchalance about Jew hatred is found among the keffiyeh classes too. Young Greens likewise froth about the ‘confected outrage’ over anti-Semitism. They, too, are in the grip of a self-pitying conspiracism that leads them to believe that media exposés of Green party anti-Semitism are hatchet jobs by haters. They, too, think anti-Semitism is a ‘minoritarian moral fetish’, or at a least a Zionist-manufactured frenzy.
Anyone who has encountered the middle-class youths who swell the ranks of both Restore’s and the Greens’ digital fandom will have been struck by the moral parallels. The British elites are the servants of Zionists, both say. It’s time to cut ties with Israel, both cry. Jews should stop whinging, both whinge.
We are losing significant numbers of our educated youths to the ancient cult of Jew blame. The internet has dragged them headfirst into that most low-IQ loathing, into that abyss of self-pity where the Jews come to be seen as the source of our every earthly and personal ill. Your country’s broken? Your borders are withered? You can’t get a job? You’ve never had sex? You’re bald? Must be those Jews.
It’s the Brocialism of Fools, the meeting point of the crank right and the posh left, all screaming blue murder about the ‘Zionist entity’ and its hell-bound supporters. Imagine thinking you’re a daring critic of the status quo when in truth you are a Stepford-style acolyte of the oldest, dumbest hatred. The young of both the faux-edgy right and the overeducated left have been beguiled by a craven ideology that ensnared so many souls before theirs. The question is: what are we going to do about it?
