It is platitudinal to claim that Christian religions in Australia are in decline. Indeed, for several years, Christianity has been rocked by controversy, even caused by religious leaders whose job it is to serve and promote their Christian denomination. This decline becomes a conspicuous, brutal reality at Christmas time, one of the holiest seasons on the Christian calendar.
