Six former Australian Prime Ministers, notably excluding Labor Prime Minister Paul Keating, have written and signed a two-page letter condemning the rapid spread of hatred by Palestinian-based terror group Hamas.
Signatories include:
Liberal Prime Ministers Scott Morrison, Malcolm Turnbull, Tony Abbott, and John Howard.
Labor Prime Ministers Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard.
It comes after Australia witnessed shocking scenes, including protesters standing on the steps of the Opera House shouting ‘Gas the Jews!’, footage of genocidal chants in city centres, students ripping down posters of missing Jewish children, and Pro-Palestinian supporters on university campuses engaging in threatening behaviour toward Jewish students.
