The right in Australia will soon be putting this theory to the test as they contend two major battles this year: the Voice referendum, and record immigration intake. They may win one battle, but will it matter if it means losing the other?
As of writing, ‘No’ is sitting at 53 per cent and ‘Yes’ is sitting at 38 per cent.
