I’d much rather Parliament simply abolished the 1972 Act, in accordance with our self-governing constitution (which it breached by passing the 1972 Act) and declared Britain no longer a member of the EU. That needs little or no negotiation.
The news would probably filter through to Brussels eventually. We would not want to have any part in the politically skewed single market, but declare a free trade area.
We might send them an Art. 50 letter, but that would just be for disentanglement details for Brussels to worry about.
The remaining remoaning influence is causing a lot of useless fretting about stuff that isn’t our problem at all.
Confound their politics /Frustrate their knavish tricks.
