PG is one of the richest black counties for sure; I believe it has 5 of the 10 top incomes for blacks in the US. However, it also has a lot of crime and pockets of poverty. PG was hit especially hard with the foreclosure crisis in 2008 – 2011 which is still lingering. Perhaps they are using some other measure and not stating it clearly. Or maybe they meant to say wealthiest. The fact that its wealthy but still crime infested is what makes it interesting because it eliminates the long held scribe that poverty creates crime.
