The concerted efforts of leftie bedwedders, axe-grinders, opportunists — and, most of all, censors who don’t want the Australian public to have access to opinions contrary to their own — led to the Senate this week establishing an inquiry into media diversity (AKA into the Great Satan himself, Rupert Murdoch).
Coincidentally, the October 2020 Nielson Digital Content Ratings were also released this week. This latest data indicates Australians spent an average of 46 per cent more time reading online news in 2020, compared to last year. And what were the top 10 sites they chose and their audience?
- ABC News Websites: 11,776,131
- news.com.au: 10,827,668
- nine.com.au: 9,943,163
- 7NEWS.com.au: 9,514,187
- Daily Mail Australia: 9,439,976
- The Sydney Morning Herald: 8,980,539
- Guardian Australia: 6,515,599
- The Age: 5,131,212
- Australian Community Media: 3,748,841
- The Australian: 3,263,092
That’s right. The Love Media — the ABC, The SMAge and the trust fund kids of the Guardian Australia — makes up 40 per cent of the list, as opposed two just two sites representing the Evil Empire, one of which, news.com.au, is almost as woke and dumbed down as The Project.
Certain people, former prime ministers included, should really take their hand off it.
