So, who fills the brief for the Euro and Social dialogue? Point is the ‘new’ UK Commissioner you mentioned hasn’t a brief and is there in name only.

Things changed on June 23, you seem to be living in the past, one where we were obligated to stick to the EU rules, we no longer are. UK law trumps EU law, that was the main point of the vote. You need to get your head around that.
We also have lame duck MEPs. Perhaps if we go back in with amended immigration rules they may be of value but like the commissioner are half out and I, like someone below, wonder why they are there currently.

I find it strange that the UK bit off more than it could chew with a federal political project without putting it to the Country before now. Maggie would never have ratified Lisbon for example.
