By any measure, Sadiq Khan deserves to lose the London mayoral election. Khan has been terrible for the capital, yet barring an upset by the Tory candidate Susan Hall he’s almost certain to win re-election. London – one of the world’s great cities – will be stuck with its mediocre mayor for four more years.
