Ghazi Hamad, leader of the terror group Hamas, appears to have warmly welcomed Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s ceasefire vote at the UN Security Council.
‘Thanks to Labor, Australia stands utterly condemned for a total betrayal of Israel,’ says Spectator Australia Editor, Rowan Dean.
The Hamas leader communicated his sick thank you message in an as yet to be confirmed post on Twitter.
‘In addition to the calls worldwide demanding immediate ceasefire in Gaza strip, the last of which was the statement by Canada, Australia, and New Zealand backing sustainable ceasefire in Gaza. We welcome these governments and consider them in the right direction to isolate the fascist Israeli government globally and ending the occupation in modern times,’ said Ghazi Hamad.
What it's come down to … #Hamas THANKS Australia for ceasefire support in Gaza!
PS, this is same Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad, who said they would repeat Oct 7 massacre "again & again" until Israel was annihilated.
With 'mates' like that, hey @AlboMP @SenatorWong @AusAmbIsrael? pic.twitter.com/DbvCr3UGFo

This is the same man who said of the October 7 massacre and mass rape of civilians that it would be ‘repeated a million times’ until Israel is annihilated.
Our Labor government is a disgrace.
