Here’s a challenge for Australian Marxists.
It can be assessed that the ‘success’ of the Chinese Communist Party is, in fact, a victory for capitalism.
This proposition is surely counter-intuitive. But so too, much of what Australian Marxists say is counter-intuitive. They say that there has only ever been one successful proletarian revolution – namely, the Russian Revolution of 1917.
