I’ve always disliked the phrase “I told you so”. It reeks of bitterness wrapped in arrogance, especially when coming from a young person. Yet I don’t see any other way to encapsulate my frustration with last week’s open letter to Harper’s American magazine titled “A Letter on Justice and Open Debate”.
