The humiliation of Election19 will reach its zenith as the 46th Parliament assembles this week. For CBD it will be a day for stress leave as the hard right continues to empower individuals with tax cuts denying the central government the resources it so desperately needs to implement the workers’ paradise.

To think GULAG – the Greens, unions, Labor and GetUp – is struggling to know what to do with the tax cuts is confidence shattering for CBD and fellow GULAG travellers.

The mantra of Election19 of big taxes big government simply cannot be discarded in the face of repudiation by the uneducated. An election defeat is no time to recoil from progressive policy positioning. It just means GULAG requires more resilience and determination. We need to double down not recklessly retreat.

One reassurance for CBD is that whenever things look too grim on the GULAG side of the political divide all one needs to do is poke one’s nose over to the other side and see SM’s team unwittingly progressing the GULAG agenda without hesitation or understanding. Those ministers just regurgitate what we in the APS serve them.

SM’s sidestepping the Folau case proved morale boosting. If the boss isn’t willing to defend GULAG’s greatest enemy ‘freedom’ then GULAG is well on the way. Nevertheless, CBD is bracing for the promised legislation to lock in this mistaken notion of freedoms.

The one that really got GULAG supporters celebrating everywhere was SM’s hapless Sports Minister fully embracing the transgender agenda.

With everyone (egged on by the hard right) focussed on sport’s alleged PC crusade against Folau and his wife along came the desperately needed circuit breaker. Transgender sports being supported by the Government. All the focus and anger concentrated on one of their own. All that is needed to lock it in is Senator Wong and silly Zali to publicly support the Minister’s stance.

Of course pre-pubescent children should be told they have a choice as to their sexual identity. Physical characteristics and chromosomes are as irrelevant as weight is to anorexia. The suggestion these poor children should be denied irreversible drug and steroid treatments together with possible surgery is inhumane. As is any parental concern about young girls mixing in change rooms with boys in puberty. They need this diversity and what better way to teach them than in practical sessions in the shower room. All so vital for a primary education. (CBD just hopes no one in government reads the angry reaction in the comments by the ill-informed masses).

It makes CBD wonder what all the fuss is really about with the loss of Election19. The GULAG agenda keeps being rolled out and implemented irrespective of the ill-informed people’s wishes.

The CBD contributed exclusively to Flat White throughout the 2019election campaign – and we have not heard the last of him/her/zi yet.
