have to let you go. You have a buying capacity of £40 billion (June’s figure) and you want to put all your eggs in one basket. Hmmm sounds like you have a vested interest or you’re getting a kick-back which sounds about right. You want to carry on buying expensive German potatoes when you can switch to English ones or Japanese. What will happen to all the German farmers and their potato pickers, sorters, washers etc. if suddenly they are down £8 billion? Will they suddenly sell to Greece?
