Establishment attacks! Pauline explodes leftie brains

Tim Burton’s 1996 black comedy Mars Attacks! used Slim Whitman’s song ‘Indian Love Call’ to blow out the brains of the Martian enemy. For those who enjoy Tim Burton’s movies, it will be no ‘surpreeeez!’ that Pauline Hanson is on the money with her roasting of Andrew Hastie and Anthony Albanese.

And then there is our money that is tied up in superannuation like the proverbial sword of Damocles hanging over our ability to own our own homes before we die.

A wise man once said to me, ‘You can’t know what you don’t know.’ The trouble with this truism is that the political elite think they know better than you. It’s a form of elite ‘you can’t know what I know’.

Well, guess what, your goose is cooked. Pauline’s ‘welcome to country love call’ is the reason your Martian brains are exploding.

There’s an old elitist saying that if you redistributed money equally, within a few years it would all go back to the same people. But that was an anti-union pitch about the redistribution of wealth, not a pitch against the people who actually create wealth.

And that’s the bit the political elite don’t understand, because they can’t know what they don’t know. Hardship. Hard times. But hardships and hard times that didn’t diminish one’s patriotism, one’s sense of family, or one’s sense of self.

It’s ironic that our Editor-in-Chief’s flagship program, Outsiders, captures the spirit of what is going on politically. The outsiders are those who do the work. Who keep the country functioning. Deliver the daily bread. Make the coffee. Stock the shelves. Drive the trucks. Cook. Clean. These are the contemporary Forgotten People. These are the people who are turning to One Nation.

If you read the major mastheads daily, you will have noticed that, whether conservative or leftist, these mastheads are anti-Pauline. They take every opportunity to slap her down.

But they don’t know what they can’t know… They don’t know that Pauline is on the money. They don’t know that the contemporary forgotten people are fed up. They’ve had enough. They are done with the Establishment.

Andrew Hastie has been lauded for standing up to Pauline. But what he doesn’t realise is that support for Ben Roberts-Smith is through the roof. Support for Hastie disappeared when he didn’t vote the way he initially said he would on the Hate Speech laws. End of that story.

Hardworking Australians don’t like broken promises, and they don’t care about Hastie’s feelings.

Speaking of feelings, Anthony Albanese appears to be upset by Pauline Hanson’s comments regarding his mother living in public housing until her death. Senator Hanson implied that the idea of ‘cradle-to-grave’ welfare isn’t ideal.

‘Housing commission houses should not be there for people to live in them for 30, 40 [years] – and he said his mother lived in the same one she was born in for 65 years. Sorry, that is not on, to me. It should be limited time. You have been given a hand up, move it on to the next ones coming through.’

Pauline makes a valid point. I’ve heard Australian academics say that people in Europe rent from the government their whole lives and that Australians need to ‘get over’ their desire to own their own homes. I’d rather anyone who thinks that would pack up and piss off to Europe.

And while the Prime Minister is understandably defending his late mother, my mother’s standard of living has suffered under Labor’s economic policies and failed leadership.

There is also an argument regarding ‘fair game’ if a politician voluntarily uses a part of their private life as a political narrative. Whether right or wrong, it is hardly uncommon. Pauline herself was faced with stories about her ex-husband not so long ago.

My own upbringing was barely a step up from ‘povo’. The difference is my parents worked several jobs to make sure we had our own house. The Whitlam, Hawke, and Keating governments did everything they could to take whatever they could get their hands on and give it to bludgers.

Albo was the beneficiary of Australia’s safety net. That’s great. But now he owns a house in the ironically named suburb of Copacabana while the rest of us are stuck in 1970s Mt Druitt. If Albo ever went up against the kids from Mt Druitt in the 70s, he’d know that getting a thumb in your eye is par for the course.

Given that Albo is getting a thumb in the eye from Pauline, most of us who are sick of getting shafted by elites cheer wildly.

Albo says ‘kindness isn’t weakness’. Then Labor forces you to work several jobs because they are hell-bent on turning everyone into generational welfare recipients, so they’ll keep voting for Labor. My view is that Albo’s kindness isn’t kindness. It’s a national form of narcissistic breadcrumbing and gaslighting. And the people know it.

As for Hastie, let’s just say he ‘can’t know what he refuses to know’.

As the heat is turned up on One Nation and editorials spruik the wisdom of the Establishment, the good news is that the forgotten people haven’t forgotten.

The forgotten people know they have been shafted by the major parties. They know that Pauline is being attacked because she is speaking truth to power. Nowhere is this more obvious than how recent editorials carry on about our superannuation.

Superannuation belongs to those who earnt it through the sweat of their brow. It does not belong to those who think they know better than you.

And that is why Pauline is cutting through. She is speaking our language.

If Hastie wants to speak our language, he ought to keep the promises he makes to voters on social media.

If Albo wants to speak our language, he could be the Cinderella Man and repay the public housing debt he and his family cost Australians. If James J. Braddock could do it, surely the Housing Commission Man can do it, too?

Nah, they will just keep telling you that they know what you don’t know. Unless Pauline’s siren song makes their brains explode in the meantime.
