Rudy Giuliani may sometimes carry himself like the Grinch, but the former New York City mayor loves Christmas enough to try his hand at ornament making. Even following a $148 million defamation judgment, Giuliani hasn’t given up the season’s spirit.

On Wednesday’s episode of his livestreamed program, America’s Mayor Live, Giuliani seemed to have more on his mind than his financial woes. He shared a clip of his Christmas tree adorned with Nature’s Promise bottles, a fruit and vegetable supplement targeted at elderly conservatives. Still looking for that perfect stocking stuffer? Consider Nature’s Promise: not only does it makes a great gift, every purchase helps Giuliani to “fight the traitors.”

“Last night I showed you how to put one together,” he said, showing off his Balance of Nature ornament. “This one’s going on the tree now. I’m going to have two on my tree!”

Cockburn wonders whether Giuliani’s spirits will hold after he filed for bankruptcy on Thursday, acknowledging the strain of the defamation judgment awarded to Georgia election workers Wandrea’ Moss and her mother Ruby Freeman. The pair said they received threats after Giuliani accused them of election fraud in the 2020 election.

“The filing should be a surprise to no one. No person could have reasonably believed that Mayor Rudy Giuliani would be able to pay such a high punitive amount,” his political advisor Ted Goodman said in a statement. “Chapter 11 will afford Mayor Giuliani the opportunity and time to pursue an appeal, while providing transparency for his finances under the supervision of the bankruptcy court, to ensure all creditors are treated equally and fairly throughout the process.”

The appeal will also give Giuliani time to make more Balance of Nature ornaments for his Christmas tree. On Tuesday, the former mayor demonstrated how to turn the supplement bottles into ornaments using a pen and a paper lip.

“I can have four of these on the tree before I am finished,” he said, gleefully “I have been taking these like crazy. It got me through getting framed.”
