Had Jeremy Corbyn become Prime Minister then nothing would have been learned from the sacrifice and defeat of Hitler and his National Socialist party in World War II. Jeremy Corbyn the unapologetic antisemite embodies the fatal flaw that continues to run through the British Labour party and other socialists who seek to destroy capitalism; the belief they need to destroy the Jews and the financial power they claim the Jews exercise.
Marx in his essay On the Jewish Question in 1844 evidenced his own antisemitism; ‘What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money… money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man and turns them into commodities… The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange… The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general’. He further contends that ‘In the final analysis, the emancipation of the Jews is the emancipation of mankind from Judaism.’
Corbyn was and is supported by Momentum, a political movement comprised of some 20 groups. The Independent in August 2018 exposed leaked conversations between members of Momentum who were also holders of committee positions in the local Labour party. Quote: ‘security guards were stationed outside synagogues to generate an atmosphere of insecurity because Zionists want to exploit and generate the fear of antisemitism’ and further that some antisemitism was manufactured to scare British Jews into moving to Israel and it was legitimate to suggest the row over the issue was part of a conspiracy involving Jewish groups. Several spoke in defence of a local activist who had written about the over-representation of Jews in the capitalist ruling class.
Deputy Labour Leader Tom Watson who resigned his position after the December election was called was reported in the Guardian in February of 2019 as saying there was a ‘crisis for the soul of the Labour party’ and stated he personally had forwarded to Corbyn fifty complaints about antisemitism.
The Sunday Times fired a warning shot in April of 2018 in an investigative article headlined ‘Inside Labour’s Hate Factory Vitriol and Threats of Violence: the ugly face of Jeremy Corbyn’s cabal.’ The article quotes a former MP Ivor Caplin who speaks on behalf of the Jewish Labour Movement; ‘the fact remains that antisemites have found a home in the party and many of them use influential online groups to feed poison into the party’s bloodstream.’
The investigation backing the article found some 400,000 people belonged to twenty pro-Corbyn Facebook groups and four of Corbyn’s aides belonged to one of the groups supporting Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell. This group has 28,000 members and one post still not taken down at the time of the article was ‘Adolf you should have finished the job.’ Another group of 27,000 supporters includes the post ‘the holocaust was a big lie’.
People should not have been surprised. Corbyn’s history was there for all to see and the voters in December certainly did not miss it.
Tom Bower in his unauthorised biography of Corbyn, Dangerous Hero; Corbyn’s Ruthless Plot for Power spent eighteen months joining the dots to assemble the life and beliefs of Jeremy Corbyn the committed communist who wanted to change the United Kingdom irrevocably into a communist state. Published in February 2019, Bower wrote that Corbyn honed ‘the malign modus operandi’ in his early political career in Haringey, where the local branch’s long-serving secretary said he was a natural Marxist, seeing him as a sly agitator seeking political advantage.
It pays to remember Lenin’s dictum telling British communists to ‘support the Labour party as the rope supports the hanged man; to control the party win an election and destroy capitalism.’ In an ITV interview Bower stated that Corbyn was always antisemitic himself. When an infamous antisemitic mural in the Der Stürmer style (so favoured in Hitler’s National Socialist Germany) was ordered to be taken down Corbyn sent the artist a message supporting the mural.
Dame Margaret Hodge, a 73-year- old Labour MP and daughter of Jewish refugees, spoke in the House of Commons in April 2018 declaring: ‘I felt like an outsider in the party I have been a member of for 50 years.’ She further said ‘I have never felt as nervous and frightened as I feel today at being a Jew. It feels that my party has given permission for antisemitism to go unchallenged.’ She said she felt this way after seeing a battered suitcase bearing her uncle’s initials during a visit to Auschwitz. She received a standing ovation.
John McDonnell, Corbyn’s close ally, proudly admits to being a Marxist and joked about his desire to assassinate Thatcher and repeatedly comments about lynching the Work and Pensions Secretary Ester McVey. James Medway, McDonnell’s economics adviser and a member of both We Support Jeremy Corbyn and Supporting Jeremy Corbyn & John McDonnell reportedly posts on The Witch is Dead, a site which celebrates Margaret Thatcher’s death and advocates violence against Conservative MPs.
In 2014, Corbyn attended a commemorative wreath-laying ceremony for the Black September murderers of eleven Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics.
Here was Corbyn by his very presence approving of the actions of those who kidnapped, tortured, shot and burned to death Olympic athletes because they were Jews. This appalling attack received praise from the Marxist Red Army Faction, otherwise known as the Baader-Meinhof gang, via Ulrike Meinhof who viewed hatred of the Jews as hatred of capitalism and hence the murders were justified. When Corbyn was challenged he first denied he was there but when caught out said he was ‘present but not involved.’
The win for Boris Johnson in the December election marks an enormous win for democracy and capitalism and rejection of socialism. Corbyn’s so-called progressive agenda proved that socialism is regressive. Corbyn and his acolytes had mapped a return to the socialism of the 1930s, with Germany’s National Socialism and Russia’s international socialism where individualism would be crushed, free enterprise eradicated and morality trashed.
This election is a victory for the inheritors of the freedom that was won at such enormous cost in the second world war. History remains the great teacher.
