As a lifelong NYer I can firmly attest you are 100% wrong about NYC having litter traffic on Mondays and Fridays. Friday afternoon traffic leaving the city can easily last hours, even in the summer when publishing/media employees typically have the day off. Mondays are always a crush. I can’t speak to DC but I can assure you this is a fantasy about NYC. Also, NYC and Miami are not majority white cities.
