I didn’t say anything we like. I mean I do not see how the EU can force us to stick to their rules anymore. It’s like when the CSA (Confederate States of America) succeeded, they went their own way, they didn’t carry on sending representatives to the Senate, they formed their own government.

The only reason to stick to the rules of a club we are no longer a part is for our benefit, so playing the game of article 50 is not the way to go, sure do a deal, but on our terms, not giving away our negotiating position before day 1 of negotiations.
