Isis takes its British schoolgirl jihadis seriously. Why don’t we?

When the first schoolgirls ran away to Isis I had some sympathy for them — at least, I could see how they’d been suckered in. The girls were young, daft, desperate for a cause. They’d nosed about online, and found the Twitter feeds of jihadi wives who sell Syria as a teenage paradise: all fast food, deathless love, martyrdom and shopping.

Because I felt for those first schoolgirls, I kept following their progress, checking for them online as they set up in Syria, married, and began to tweet themselves. But as I followed them on social media, my sympathy soon turned to disgust.

‘Happy #9/11’ wrote young Zahra Halane, one of the twins from Manchester who fled to Isis last year. ‘Happiest day of my life. Hopefully more to come. InSha Allah #Is.’

Her sister Salma cheered on the Charlie Hebdo massacre: ‘May Allah protect all the mujahideen in Franceeee!!! Shooting was maaaad!!’

Um Ayoub, 16, also from England, listed a few of her favourite things: ‘Vans, Nike, Chelsea FC, beheading Kafirs.’

It’s strange to feel one’s own heart harden; odd to notice that, without willing it, one’s thoughts have changed. All this dancing on the kafir’s grave had the same effect on me as I expect it had on others. The girls who once seemed victims became aggressors. They want to kill all unbelievers? Their former school pals? Me? Well, let them go to Syria, then. Let them stay there. Why waste money saving kids who want us dead?

It’s a satisfying position, and one I was enjoying right up until last week, when I read a report written by a think tank, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue. ‘Till Martyrdom Do Us Part’, it was called, and it showed me what a terrible dunce I’d been. We must take these girls seriously, said the ISD, and we must stop them leaving — or else we’ll be making a historic, catastrophic mistake.

ISD say our girls are being lured not to Syria but to Libya now. A new cry has gone up on Twitter; the beckoning of British-born brides of Isis to their little sisters back home: ‘Come to Libya. Hijra is not only to Shaam [Syria]. Libya needs you too.’ ‘Life in Libya is mind bogglingly great.’ ‘Make your Visa and go to #IS in Libya. We need to raise more awareness.’ And all over London, daughters who seemed safe in their bedrooms start typing secretly: where should I fly to? How do I find you?

Isis have held territory in Libya for a while now, thanks to Mr Cameron and his idiot war. They run training camps on the coast near the Tunisian border (Jihadi John was a graduate) and have just retaken Sirte, Gaddafi’s old home town. But as ISD say, this sudden call for girls changes the game. Girls mean brides and brides mean babies, brainwashed from birth. Girls mean Isis are ready to secure another state, a new caliphate — and in terms of our security, if not human misery, Libya as a caliphate makes Syria look benign.

Libya is the dream for Isis, the real promised land. There’s oil to be sold and untold zillions to be extorted from migrants hoping to cross the Med, but more importantly, it’s the perfect launch pad for attacks on Europe. One Isis supporter, quoted by the Telegraph’s Ruth Sherlock, put it like this: ‘Libya has a long coast and looks upon the southern crusader states which can be reached with ease by even a rudimentary boat.’

And here’s where our schoolgirls might really make their mark. They’ll get in those rudimentary boats with the refugees, and with their children perhaps for added innocence. They’ll be rescued, make contact with comrades on the ground, then pick their moment to detonate off to paradise, taking the kafir with them. This is Isis’s plan, openly discussed online, to take terror to infidel Europe. The stowaway schoolgirl jihadis of today are tomorrow’s homing missiles.

But don’t Isis say a woman’s place is in the home? Aren’t Isis wives condemned to a life of cookery and beating up their Kurdish slaves? For the moment, yes. There is no lethal brigade of Isis lady assassins, much though the red-tops wish it so. But worshipping violence creates an appetite among the faithful. Beheadings are moreish, as England once knew well, and the longer a girl’s in the caliphate, the more bloodthirsty she’s likely to become. ISD have spotted, they say, a shift in the thinking of jihadi wives, an impatience among women to get to the hacking and torturing themselves. Umm Ubaydah, a western woman in her early twenties who acts as mentor to youngsters overseas, tweeted hopefully: ‘Maybe the time for us to participate is soon?’

Just think, say the ISD, of Chechnya’s female fighters, who first played just a sedate and supportive role in the Russo-Chechen wars. During the second war, after their husbands’ ‘martyrdom’, these homebodies became the ‘black widow’ suicide bombers.

And don’t imagine Isis don’t see the potential in their girls. In return for the release of the Japanese hostage Kenji Goto, they demanded ‘sister’ Sajida Mubarak al-Rishawi, a failed suicide bomber held in Amman. It wasn’t that they wanted her particularly, but demanding a sister sent a message to the rest worldwide: we value you — and especially if you’re prepared for martyrdom.

Each lonely schoolgirl, curious, religious, hormonal, is a godsend to Isis. That’s why they devote so many thousands of hours to converting them, to talking theology on the internet and making friends.

So the mystery of it all turns out to be not why the girls go so much as why we, Britain, do so little about it. No one in government is much concerned, says the ISD, no one thinks runaway teens a big deal. Our spooks and wonks have other concerns, which is why the ISD wrote their report. There’s some talk of educational videos and of learning from the campaigns that stopped kids smoking, but what’s really needed are mentors of our own, legions of them, to counteract Isis’s recruiters. We need to take these girls as seriously as Isis takes them or we really will live to regret it.

You might disagree with half of it, but you’ll enjoy reading all of it. Try your first 10 weeks for just $10

Certainly will make it easier to kill them (islamowh*res) – should the opportunity come along.
Of course western msm will still be sucked into the propaganda – women/children/civilain casualty BS.
Just like having to deal with that other bunch of islamoscum in Gaza ie Hamas.
These little jihadib*tcies – every bit as dangerous/deranged/dumb/demented as their male counterparts.

    • Atlas

Fundamentally the British establishment refuses to accept that a religious war is being waged against us an many of the enemy combattantsin that war are now inthe UK.

      • Bonkim

Islam has been at war with non-Islam since the beginning – am surprised Britain with its centuries old familiarity with Islam and colonial history does not recognize the danger of harbouring these dangerous bigots in its midst.

Christianity and its age of ignorance and bigotry may have been eradicated in recent decades but you can never get bigotry and ignorance out of Islam – it is stuck in their DNA.

        • logdon

          Churchill did.

        • Alexsandr

how did we get into this with our eyes shut?

  • Sunshine Sux

Just like Palestinians dance in the streets over Jewish deaths, these musloids dance and cheers when Westerners get slaughtered.
What type of ideology is this, that raises young girls, into wanting to spread their hairy legs to the first psychotic beheader they see? And they have the audacity to believe that they are better than western girls? I hope these little bottom feeding slugs gets exactly what they pray for: their beloved jihad.
Of course, once they get drones, bombs, missiles etc in return, they have the galls to complain, like the inbred turds that they are. They love death, but cry when they get it. Priceless.

    • Jackthesmilingblack

That “dancing in the streets on 9/11” clip was faked. You only have to consider time differences. The clip was filmed in daylight. What you say was a library clip of an entirely different event.
Smell up and wake the coffee.

      • Omallet

hi jack on an honest one just after 9/11 I was in traffic just norf of lahnden and a group of “asian” h/t to the BBC said to me through our open windows 9/11 was the greatest day of our lives and so I am sorry I don’t believe it is faked at all

Of course I guess when you are about to be married to your cousin and you can’t go out in case daddy cuts your throat then all sorts of things could make a good day

        • Jackthesmilingblack

“I was in traffic just norf of lahnden”
Where? What was the local time.
The infamous “dancing in the streets after 9/11” clip shown on national TV was purportedly shot somewhere in the ME, where it would have been dark. This was an old clip, probably celebrating a wedding.
          You’re being played Britisher pals.

    The
presence of these girls is significant proof that there is a significant
minority of Muslims that are totally incompatible with the culture and
traditions of our country. This significant minority seems intent on subverting
every structure of our society and making common cause with our enemies.
Overlooking their transgressions which are legion or attempting to understand
or reach out to them have only emboldened them and bred a vicious contempt for
ordinary Brits. Our elites have made the rest of us look supine and emasculated
in the face of an enemy (yes that is what this significant minority is) lacking
in any concept of morality courage or honour. This I cannot forgive, and God willing, there
    should be a reckoning.

    • TrulyDisqusted

I don’t believe that they are a minority.

Polls have shown significant, majority support for ISIS by UK and Europe based Muslims.

Like most societies, the majority don’t act, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t support the minority who do.

      • red2black

When it comes to opinion polls, Muslims seem co-operative all of a sudden.
        Do you have any examples?

        • Robbydot1

Don’t you have access to Google?

          • red2black

Yes, but I find a lot of the surveys present results with no indication of, for example, the number of people surveyed, or exactly what the questions were that were asked.

          • anka

            Try this: http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/the-worlds-muslims-religion-politics-society-overview/
Overwhelming percentages of Muslims in many countries want Islamic law (sharia) to be the official law of the land, according to a worldwide survey by the Pew Research Center.
The survey involved a total of more than 38,000 face-to-face interviews in 80-plus languages.

A further reminder of what a huge mistake we initially made inviting these alien creeds to our shores from the 50s onwards: allowing them to fester in their “communities”, out breed us and instill values that are wholly contradictory to our own – plotting our demise in the most violent possible way.

We seem oblivious to these mistakes though: still importing them in the hundreds of thousands each year from source countries, whilst their ideological cohorts stealthily creep ever closer up through southern Europe at the behest of the European Union’s most poisoned minds: it’s very leaders.

Isnt Isis a CIA US backed terrorist movement? Isis’ larger purpose isnt just to act as the insurgency against the evil dictator(R) Assad but to construct as a useful bogeyman for the West and its nominally Christian citizens to despise. Great for divide and conquer and to eventually bring in a police state in the name of ‘security’ despite letting millions of Muslims into our continent who pose a very real security threat (though we have to go through security checks and have passports). So in the media we get this Orwellian Five Minute Hate of who we are supposed to despise all backed by our corrupt and evil leaders.

The US and its allies are traitiors to its people and we need a Western Spring to redress the balance.

One should not fall into the trap of thinking that the female of the species are innocent, harmless creatures with no free-will and who are being lead astray by big, burly evil men full of self-determination. This mindset has been leaking slowly into the British judicial system for some time now, despite clear evidence that it works both ways.

    • JeccaBaby

Spoken like a true feminist. Although you’re wrong on one important point: the judicial view that women have limited free-will was ever thus and is not a recent phenomenon. Liberal feminists have long argued that women are every bit as capable of self-determination as men.

      • cartimandua

This is not self determination any more than it is for the suicidal boys. The treatment of women, the abuse, and the covering harms attachment and the foetal brain.

        • JeccaBaby

Point taken, but my point was that the same applies to the suicidal boys AND girls.

      • Poetryeater

On the same note, women in ISL significantly are portrayed in the media in powerful roles that command submission, for example, their role in decimating the Yasidi. In comparison with ‘traditional’ roles of women in the home under Islamist rule, portrayed in western media as the woman without rights and self-governance, the ISL woman is portrayed as a powerful horrific and abusive ‘mother figure’ that sells the souls of her ‘adopted’ and kidnapped ‘children’ to the all consuming ‘father figure’ – the ISL fighter/violator. The ‘Bride of Isis’ seems comparable to an evolution of Myra Hindly and the ISL fighter an evolution of Ian Brady in this instance. Both, but particularly the women, in the role of luring teenagers away from home have a striking parallel with the infamous British child killers.

At least that’s how I perceive the massacre of the Yasidi, and Boko Haram’s kidnapping of young girls/women in Nigeria.

        • JeccaBaby

Yes, it certainly fits the cultural stereotype of the evil mother. I also think that the death-loving brutality of (fundamentalist) Islam is inextricably linked to the systemic abuse and denigration of women in that culture and religion. Abused women raise damaged children, and the intergenerational trauma caused by the treatment of Muslim women means that attachments are severely damaged, even before the further traumas these children witness in such cultures. Attachment disorders in childhood are linked to suicidal, sociopathic tendencies in adulthood, as well as traits associated with vulnerability to emotional manipulation. In men, such traits are typically ‘acted outwards’, in women, they are generally directed internally and towards the children. This is basic attachment theory, and when woman and child abuse is mandated by medieval scriptures which are STILL strictly adhered to, it’s difficult to see how the cycle of abuse, trauma and violence can be broken.

  • Charlie Angel

Although I very much share the writer’s hardening of heart when it comes to the messages that are purported to be coming from these girls, I would still be slightly hesitant about accepting everything at face value.

Yes, these were clearly extraordinarily naive and immature girls who showed the sort of silliness that used to be limited to running after boy bands but now alas leads to barbaric caliphs. But once there, I don’t think we can say for sure whether everything they write is actually their true feelings now.

We have heard already from ex-ISIS members who have managed to escape and their tales of how Western jihadists are often expected to perform all sorts of propaganda duties. And as we know how women are viewed under islamic rule, I doubt they will be allowed much self-autonomy over thought, deed and speech. Everything they do will be strictly controlled including their twitter accounts. Especially considering how valuable such things are for attracting more similarly stupid youths to the cause.

Rather like letters home from PoWs and reports of the ‘health camp’ at Auschwitz, we must be wary of any official line that comes out of a murderous regime. Alas, I doubt that any of these girls have the intelligence of a Wodehouse to put a more nuanced spin on their ghastly situation.

This being said, I find it hard to summon too much pity for them even if they have found out to their cost the terrifying consequences of one very stupid decision. As any parent of a teenager has to accept, some actions cannot be undone and sometimes self-destruction is unavoidable however much we may want to protect them from it.

    • ramesesthegrumbler

I suspect that it is rather like those lefty girlies that used to get shipped to Cuba and Nicaragua for working holidays and came back with a certainty that communism was the only way. They only saw what they were allowed to see and only believed what they saw.
ISIS no doubt treat these girls well so that they can genuinely blog about the ‘better’ lives they have in the Caliphate. This is purely to encourage more to arrive.
Naturally once these girls have served their purpose …

    • Omallet

I have more sympathy and concern for all those Middle East Christian schoolgirls being raped and massacred in their homelands by ISIL they didn’t have a choice and they got no protection from the West. The authorities seem to show more concern for these idiot ISIL girls than they ever did for the vulnerable children and young women of Rotherham, Oxford, Derby etc etc that genuinely through coke, booze were coerced into abuse.

  • Tamerlane

Until you put that little thing called ‘British’ on a pedestal, make migrants earn, I mean really earn their citizenship, put the flag up each morning, sing the national anthem, make them learn their history and their constitution, elevate national identity above race and religion, make them play competitive sport to give them a sense of belonging and purpose and the wherewithal to stand on their own two feet, until you do all these things, I mean really do these things properly and for real this goes on.

  • kuffir

The problem is that if they’re not making babies over there they will be making babies over here, and indoctrinating them here just the same as they would be doing there. The difference is that here they will be making babies and the UK taxpayer will be footing the bill through the welfare system.

We are up against a degree of evil we have not faced since the Nazis. We will not win by being nice. We have to stop funding our own society’s destruction through the welfare system.

  • edithgrove

Whilst the Spectator fiddles (along with the rest of us) we’ll have to wait for Putin to do the dirty work.

    • WTF

One could be forgiven in thinking that Cameron, Obama etc are deliberately letting Putin bomb the cr**ap out of ISIS in Syria and ignore collateral damage but I don’t credit them with enough sense to do this.

      • ramesesthegrumbler

Assad is Putin’s poodle. If he wants to keep his pet in power he should pay the price, not us.

      • red2black

‘deliberately letting’? That implies that they could stop him if they wanted to.

        • WTF

          Wrong word, lets try ambivalent.

          • red2black

I think edithgrove is closer to the mark. The suffering that’s been caused on all sides is appalling, and I’m sure there’ll be plenty more before it’s (if at all) sorted out.

  • WTF

The only serious aspect of these Jihadists whether male or female is a failure to strip them of their British citizenship. They are traitors to the country in the old fashioned sense, they want to kill us and I see no reason why Cameron can’t give them a simple choice, either renounce Islam and pledge allegiance to the crown or be stripped of their UK nationality whilst abroad.

    • Frunabulax

Unfortunately the feminised legal establishment and the lefty dhimmis come out to bat for the jihadis and vow to protect the citizenship of the terrorists. Best demonstrated when Andrew Neil skewered the repulsive Emily Thornberry:

Either they haven’t got anyone better and/or they simply do not care about the opinions of people who do not regard themselves as ‘socialists’ and/or their primary concern is maintaining their Muslim voting base. Very likely a bit of each.

“Stripping British passport holders of their nationality

who out of ignorance state, “They’re not British” are blissfully
unaware of the implications. Disturbing, but hardly surprising from those
with the racism of a football team supporter. Adds another dimension to “Love
it or leave it”. Turn that around and you have “Hate and leave it”.
Make negative comments about HMG and you could be rendered stateless with no right of appeal. Rather like being banned from the Catholic Daily Telegraph but not quite as far-reaching.

      • WTF

There have been many examples of British citizens being found guilty in British courts and sentenced for a crime committed outside the UK and these Jihadists with British passports are at the very least guilty of high treason which is punishable by life imprisonment. Legally I see no problem with them being charged & found guilty in their absence and then they’d know the moment they set foot back on UK soil, they’d be banged up for life.

In those circumstances I doubt whether the subject of UK passports would come up as they wouldn’t return to the UK and after 10 years their passport would expire. If they tried to renew it in a UK consulate they could then be arrested as its UK soil. The bottom line is we could give them a choice, change citizenship voluntarily or face life in a prison.

        • Labour Mole Catcher

It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out that treason charges could be brought against UK jihadists whilst they are out of the country and we wouldn’t even need to revoke their citizenship as they wouldn’t come back to face a life sentence. Just as Capone got done on tax evasion when the real issue was gangland killings there’s many ways of skinning a cat or in this case a piece of extremist Islamic s*** that goes off to Syria on club Jihad break

Does anyone else think that I’m anything other than a Caucasian Brit?
Let’s compile an up-to-date looney list, shall we?

Hold the phone; are you now saying that I’m really British but pretending to be Japanese?
Well, that’s progress of a sort. If this improvement continues, why in a few short decades you’ll only be deranged.

          • Labour-Mole Catcher

So, Yuko is also no longer your wife then, I take it?!

          • Jackthesmilingblack

Don’t remember a Yuko. But it’s hot and cold running women when the supply and demand ratio runs in your direction. Which of course it does when resident in Japan. And obviously getting into character as an English gentleman. Much the same as yourself I dare say. Who am I kidding! Women can spot the nutter from 30 paces.
As an aside, do all your absurd, illogical, contradictory assertions come to you in dreams, or do you just make them up as you go along?
As some point you’re going to face a very unpleasant truth about yourself. Namely, that you are ball-to-the-wall insane. There can be no other explanation for asserting that I’m Japanese: Some 12 years you’ve been at it, literally hundreds of times. So ask yourself, to what point and purpose?
If you actually believe it against all the evidence and indicators you’re more that an idiot, you are clinically insane with some type of compulsive, obsessive disorder. So ask yourself, why is race and nationality such a big deal? Only to a xenophobic racist bigot with the simplistic nationalism of a football supporter .
However, if it’s simply the wind up of a sad loser with the mentality of the schoolyard bully, 12 years is an awfully long time to keep the same threadbare cyberstalking assertion going.
So have a nice life, looney. What’s left of it.
            Jack, the Japan Alps Brit

Well, what kind of a slippery slope has lasted for the last 101 odd years (The British Nationality and Status of Aliens Act 1914, 4 and 5 Geo. 5., Chapter 17, Part II, Section 7, Subsection 2), rubbish!

    • Labour-Mole Catcher

There is absolutely no way that the British State (and never mind the CofE) can be reasonably expected to monitor and never mind examine a person’s true religious creed. Britain would just have to inform the UN that this Country is also withdrawing from the Statelessness Convention after leaving the EU, the COE and the ECHR, and start making a few people stateless, here and there!

  • Frunabulax

Yes we should take these treasonous bints seriously. A double-tap to the head for each of them – wheresoever they are found should suffice. Stop looking for reasons to understand them – you’ve identified their utility for breeding more Jihadis therefore forego the pity and exterminate them. Simples.

  • Malcolm Stevas

“..let them go to Syria, then. Let them stay there.”
Yep, the more the merrier. We should have a whip-round to pay their fares.

  • WTF

Islam created them, Islam is the problem, Islam is incompatible with western values, ban Islam just as the Saudis ban Christianity !

    • Dominic Stockford

The Saudi’s don’t actually ban Christianity. They ban public profession of it, they ban churches, they ban bibles, and they ban proselytation of non-Christians. But they can never ban Christianity, and they know it.

      • WTF

Point taken, but we could still follow their lead and do unto Islam as they do unto Christianity.

      • Jackthesmilingblack

“The Saudi’s don’t actually ban Christianity. They ban public profession of it, they ban churches, they ban bibles, and they ban proselytation of non-Christians. But they can never ban Christianity, and they know it.”
I’m starting to like um already.

    • Fraziel

We should ban both. Neither have any place in a progressive society that encourages critical thinking and science.

      • red2black

Proposing a ban displays a lack of confidence in critical thinking and science.

  • mmac1968

What i find digusting is Mary’s initial sympathy for these girls and the following of their progress. WTF, these girls didnt skip off to join aid relief, they decided to join pychopathic genocidal scum. They have been raised in the UK in a parallel society where they have been taught by their peers, their parents and their Mosque that non Muslims are scum and should be killed. Even Cameron praises Islam and Homosexuality yet one will happily murder the other.

    • Alexsandr

just shows what an idiot cameron is then…

  • Bonkim

The only way to deal with this scum is to blast them from the air.

  • Terry101

They are not British schoolgirls they are Muslims. The more clear off out of Britain the better, we need a policy stopping any more of these seventh century savages from invading our country via the Tunnel or any other method. Muslims belong in Muslim countries and nowhere else.

  • cartimandua

I always think that sign says I SUK and they surely do.
Islamists think women are worthless and may be used as human bombs.
Off with all hijabs and “covering” floppy clothing. They will after a mass murder so why on earth not now before.
Put their computers in shared public rooms, ask questions, take away their internet phones.

It’s the punch line of a well-known joke.

  • cartimandua

Muslim women are treated like dirt by their culture and their religion. Of course a significant number of them are cruel murderous and psychopathic.
When they say “thank God my son is dead” they mean it. Some years back Psychologists in Palestine looked at child abuse. 97% of Mothers bit their children.

If young female Muslims go off to Syria and get killed then, all other things being equal, that reduces the average fertility of the UK Muslim population.

    • Cyril Sneer

We should send all of them.

  • Jacobi

    “Why don’t we?”

Because as yet we are afraid to face up to the unthinkable, that aggressive expantionist Islam is within, is coming after us, and intends to Islamise us. And frankly the women will be as bad as the men.

No it will take another Pan A, or London 7/7, or Glasgow Airport, or Lee Rigby type murder, before we all start to face up to the unthinkable, including the fact that the women will be as evil as the men.

    • Nik

How about voting UKIP, choosing who enters Britain, closing the Channel Tunnel, and then we can start examining ‘ home grown kill the Kafir ‘ preaching, while watching Sweden and the Mad Merkelites deal with their internal Refugee Problems and the demise of Christendom or don’t spineless Brits care anymore ?

      • Jacobi

        Nik,

we live in interesting times and it seems they are going to get more interesting.
Personally I am for the EU and relatively free movement of like minded people. I myself am a product of Lothian and Mayo.

” and non-EU net migration is the largest group within overall net migration to the UK”

There is your problem! 65% I guess, and a few Yankee profs an “course” Aussies apart, who are actually quite nice when you get to know them, the immigrants are Muslims.

But of course few as yet are prepared to say that.
But they will – before too long!

  • Kasperlos

Allowing unfettered migration, illegal and legal, of Saracens into the UK has given commentators like Mary Wakefield a lifetime of work. Rather than cut to the chase of demanding of HM government that they all be deported, we see a relentless assault on the British homeland and its peoples through PC garbage known as propaganda. Save Enoch Powell, not many, certainly not our ‘betters’, foresaw the era we are now in or they have been complicit in engendering the chaos we live in. None of these problems that Mary writes about existed in the UK only a few decades ago. Now it’s a daily barrage of horrific problems literally invited to our doorsteps. Rather than trying to figure out solutions to pander to these troublemakers, take the bull by the horn and throw the lot of them out of Britain. If a large scale revolt by the native inhabitants doesn’t take place to save Britain, then it will surely be lost forever. One can only shudder that millions of Britons died in the World Wars only to have the place given up without a fight by the duplicitous generation of UK ‘leaders’. The real test for Britain will come when there is a severe economic downturn and the eventual swelling acts of violence by the migrants.

  • Sean L

You initially had sympathy for them and were subsequently shocked by their glory for beheading kafirs. But why would they follow Isis in the first place if they weren’t for slaughtering the kafir? Didn’t you realise that’s the point of Isis, exterminating the kafir? It’s you that needs help, in the head.

  • Cincinnatus

The authorities should encourage them to leave Britain, along with their brothers. parents and grand parents. I would even help pay for their (one way) plane tickets.

can’t be very practical for baking cakes though

      • cartimandua

They are still advertising fundamentalist thinking. How much of choice is it when you have been groomed from infancy to be a good subservient female?
Her husband has been made a fuss of because he is apparently very attractive.
So you have a peacock and a woman saying with her headgear that the sin that matters is female sexuality.

  • Captain Dryland

Scottish nationalism and the SNP is a huge danger to the UK. Sturgeon is desperate for immigration, even going so far to ‘offer’ one of her homes to immigrants; and her so-called ‘Minister for International Development’ (a made-up title he has no right to adopt as international development is not a devolved matter), the Muslim Humza Yousaf, was just a few days ago on television, with the advancing columns of boat-men, arguing that all immigrants are refugees. Does the UK want a foreign power to her north, inviting in thousands of Muslim migrants who can then migrate southwards into England?

The UK government needs to start taking SNP Scottish separatism seriously as a national security threat, and abandon this supine posture that has been taken before the Scots secessionists, and start fighting to keep the UK united. There is NO campaign against SNP separatism coming from the UK government. A disgusting betrayal of the majority of loyal Scots, and, as usual, stupidly and lazily fostering a developing security threat to the UK, but on our own soil this time.

Come on UK. Open your eyes to this threat in the north.

    • Itinerant

The article in the Glasgow Herald showing the list MSP, helping ‘refugees’ off the boats, was very narrow- one could get the impression everyone was a desperate refugee- women, children, elderly and any male was a professional.

Migration is weaponised, whether under a banner of naive and arrogant ‘progress’, setting Europe on a Great Leap Backwards or from the pulpit in Al Aqsa mosque and sermons of demographic conquest and ‘trampling them underfoot’.

The SNP project is subversive towards Scots and Scotland, their lies will be found out at some point, unfortunately probably not before they’ve done a huge amount of damage.
There’s nothing wrong with controlled migration but bullying and conning a people into dramatic demographic and cultural change, while claiming to be nationalist, in a convoluted and disingenuous manner- is a very dangerous game to play.

“Girls mean brides and brides mean babies, brainwashed from birth.” Swallowing this logic is the same as believing in a 1000 Year Reich; the golden haired children of state-selected aryan parents fighting for generations to maintain a Nazi hegemony. Didn’t work then and won’t work now.

  • runningdog

This is a serious article but, given the comments made by so many, I fear it’s lost some of its impact because of the photo of the two ‘jihadis’. It has to be a ladyboy on the right doesn’t it? Please, Spectator, tell us the truth.

    • Mary Ann

That’s what I thought but wouldn’t they have chopped the head of a lady-boy, perhaps it’s just ill fitting trousers, although he/she is showing a lot of arm for a girl.

If a British “right of abode” passport holder is refused entry to Britain, doesn’t this mean that HMG is dishonouring it’s own passports?
After 9/11, I hit the US Embassy in Tokyo to get my “Permanent Entry Visa” transferred to my new British passport. Only to be refused by the kid behind the glass. How can you respect a country that doesn’t honour it’s own visas?
As I said at the time, “A definition of Permanent of was not previously familiar with”.
Bottom line: Governments lie. That’s all governments, all the time.

P.S.: He said something about a “permanent entry visa”, which is actually what the Australians issue to old British emigrants who have never become naturalised in Australia.

          • Jackthesmilingblack

We find out more about Jock every time he posts. I could almost bring myself to feel sorry for him. Underscore, “almost”.

          • Labour-Mole Catcher

            QED.

      • WTF

There’s no such thing as permanent US green card or right of residence, its valid for 10 years or at least mine is. I believe after three years I can apply for US citizenship or renew the green card near its expiry. They can if they wish revoke your residence rights or kick you out for any number of reasons and judging by your posts, I’m not surprised they revoked yours. If you can’t prove true residence as opposed to using it as a convenience, they are quite entitled to remove it and kick you out.

Most sensible people like my American wife got right of UK residence and then became a UK citizen (Dual) to get a UK passport for living in Spain. I will be doing the same as I now live permanently in the USA. Once you are a citizen, you have the same rights as every one else. Obviously you lacked any commitment or ties to the USA and you’re back to 90 days visitor status now.

        • Jackthesmilingblack

          “Permanent Entry Visa”

          • WTF

Its called US Citizenship something you don’t have nor as far as I can tell have ever applied for.

          • Labour-Mole Catcher

No, no. An “immigrant visa” and an “alien registration card” (a green card, so-called); and the status is automatically suspended after 2 years’ straight absence unless a successful application is made as to why the rule should be waived. He was probably talking about trying to get a 10-year TOURIST visa (and getting refused), most probably after having a few criminal convictions (which became known to the Americans), here and there.

          • WTF

Yep, that seems far more like it as the USA is a tad more choosy who it lets in or renews a green card for and it sounds like sour grapes on his original post.

“Finally and belatedly I have come to realise that you are in fact a real British expat (resident abroad, there is a difference). When I asserted that you were Japanese I was mistake, Therefore, …”
I’ll even write it for you.
After 12 long years you’ve finally grasped the obvious. Slow learner just doesn’t come close.

“B1-B2, Permanent, Indefinitely” (Indefinite would surely have been better grammar. Colonials, what you going to do with um?)
But that aside, said visa was previously transferred from one passport to another with “Permanently” added. But after 9/11, this was refused. Not that I planned to place myself within the jurisdiction of the United States of Torture.

          • WTF

Assumption as they say is the mother of all f*** ups and that appears to be your problem when it comes to business visas as they are clearly NOT the same as a green card. Business visas were always issued for work permit purposes of a short term basis and NOT for permanent residency.

          • Labour-Mole Catcher

Don’t bother! Old British passports are not actually black anyway … and when was the last time a normal British person born within one of the Four Nations (and with a clean criminal record) required a B1/B2 to go to the States anyway?! Making it up as he goes along … what an absolutely barking schizo!

Green Card what the last thing I was looking for. Reside in the United Stated of Torture? Are you kidding? Since 2001 I would place myself within US jurisdiction.

It would appear that you haven’t a clue just what you were after as you got it so wrong on what type of entry ‘permits’ your wanted whether permanent, semi-permanent, privileged like a head of state or whatever. It sounds more like you’re a free loader who tries to use other countries hospitality for your own selfish ends but the US immigration got wise and effectively told you to f*** off !

No doubt a good result for them and those who support their host countries against users.

‘The girls who once seemed victims became aggressors.’

Only fools ever regarded them as victims.

  • “When the first schoolgirls ran away to Isis I had some sympathy for them — at least, I could see how they’d been suckered in. The girls were young, daft, desperate for a cause.”

How did the three 16 year old children manage to clear airport security and fly alone out of the UK? Oops, looks like this manufactured event overlooked a dead giveaway to its fraud!

The so-called ‘War on Terror’ is an operation being carried out by the Marxist co-opted governments of the West in alliance with the USSR and other Communist nations, the purpose being to (1) destroy the prominence of the West in the eyes of the world, where the West is seen (i) invading nations without cause; (ii) causing chaos around the globe; and (iii) killing over one-million civilians and boasting of torture; (2) close off non-Russian supplies of oil for export, thereby increasing the price of oil, the higher price allowing oil exporting Russia to maintain economic stability while she modernizes and increases her military forces; (3) destroy the United States Armed Forces via the never-ending ‘War on Terror’; the ultimate purpose of the aforementioned to (4) bring about the demise of the United States in the world, opening up a political void to be filled by a new pan-national entity composed of Europe and Russia (replacing the European Union), a union ‘From the Atlantic to Vladivostok’; which will (5) see the end of NATO.

Now you know why not one political party in the West requested verification of the collapse of the USSR, and the media failed to alert your attention to this fact, including the ‘alternative’ media. When determining whether the ‘former’ USSR is complying with arms control treaties, what does the United States do to confirm compliance? Right, the United States sends into the ‘former’ USSR investigative teams to VERIFY compliance, yet when it’s the fate of the West that’s at stake should the collapse of the USSR be a ruse, what does the United States do to confirm the collapse? Nothing!

The fraudulent ‘collapse’ of the USSR (and East Bloc) couldn’t have been pulled off until both political parties in the United States (and political parties elsewhere in the West) were co-opted by Marxists, which explains why verification of the ‘collapse’ was never undertaken by the West, such verification being (1) a natural administrative procedure (since the USSR wasn’t occupied by Western military forces); and (2) necessary for the survival of the West. Recall President Reagan’s favorite phrase, “Trust, but verify”.

It gets worse–the ‘freed’ Soviets and West also never (1) de-Communized the Soviet Armed Forces of its Communist Party officer corps, which was 90% officered by Communist Party members; and (2) arrested/de-mobilized the 6-million vigilantes that assisted the Soviet Union’s Ministry of the Interior and police control the populations of the larger cities during the period of ‘Perestroika’ (1986-1991)!

There can be no collapse of the USSR (or East Bloc nations) without…

    Verification, De-Communization and De-mobilization.

The West never verified the collapse of the USSR because no collapse occurred, since if a real collapse had occurred the West would have verified it, since the survival of the West depends on verification. Conversely, this proves that the political parties of the West were co-opted by Marxists long before the fraudulent collapse of the USSR, since the survival of the West depends on verification.

Now you know how Bolshevik Russia survived in 1917; how the West ‘lost’ China to the Communists in 1949; why the Eisenhower administration turned a deaf ear to the anti-Communist Hungarian uprising in 1956; why the Eisenhower administration in 1959 was indifferent to the Castro brothers’ Communist fidelity, actually used the CIA to overthrow the Batista government; why the Nixon administration abandoned Taiwan for Communist China, and signed treaties/provided economic aid to the USSR; why the Nixon administration refused to tell the American People that over 50% of North Vietnamese NVA regiments were actually Chinese People’s Liberation Army soldiers (attired in NVA uniforms, and proving that the Sino/Soviet Split was a ruse, as KGB defector Major Anatoliy Golitsyn told the West back in 1962), thereby (1) ensuring the Vietnam War would be lost; (2) destroying the prominence of the United States abroad and at home; (3) breeding distrust between the American people and their government; and (4) securing Communist victories in Southeast Asia. Working in the background within the political parties of the United States and Great Britain were Marxist agents doing their best to (1) ensure the survival of Communist nations when they popped up; and (2) sabotage any policies that would bring down a Communist nation. That’s why after the fake collapses of the East Bloc nations and USSR there was no mandatory Western verification process to ensure the Communists weren’t still in control.

The following is a discovery I made in April regarding the fake collapse of the USSR, and what that fraudulent collapse proves about the institutions of the West…

When Soviet citizens were liberated from up to 74 years of horrific Marxist oppression on December 26, 1991 there were ZERO celebrations throughout the USSR, proving (1) the ‘collapse’ of the USSR is a strategic ruse; and (2) the political parties of the West were already co-opted by Marxists,* otherwise the USSR (and East Bloc nations) couldn’t have gotten away with the ruse.

ZERO celebrations, as the The Atlantic article inadvertently informs us…

    http://www.theatlantic.com/photo/2011/12/20-years-since-the-fall-of-the-soviet-union/100214/

Notice, however, the Kremlin staged anti-government demonstrations that took place in Russia (and other Soviet republics) in the years immediately preceding the ‘collapse’, yet ZERO celebrations after the ‘collapse’!

    Conclusion:

The West will form new political parties where candidates are vetted for Marxist ideology, the use of the polygraph to be an important tool for such vetting. Then the West can finally liberate the globe of vanguard Communism.

    ————————-

    * The failed socialist inspired and controlled pan-European revolutions that swept the continent in 1848(1) taught Marxists and socialists a powerful lesson, that lesson being they couldn’t win overtly,(2) so they adopted the tactic of infiltration of the West’s political parties/institutions. In the case of the United States…(continue reading at DNotice)…

You felt sorry for the Jihadi brides? I hope the Kurds get a hold of them and gut them like a fish. I hope they upload the footage to YouTube so that I can laugh at their screams.

I may not be as nice as you Mary, I’m not as naive either.

Why don’t we all just convert to Islam and get rid of all this violence?

    • Jackthesmilingblack

Alternatively, the West could nuke Islamic countries, wipe out the Mulsims, steal the oil and resolve world over-population at a stroke.

      • milford

Which is more or less what the West is in the process of doing.

        • Jackthesmilingblack

There you go. Somebody that grasps my off-beat humour.

  • Please let them all leave.
We don’t want them in Europe.

“what’s really needed are mentors of our own”

Yes, but not the way you mean.

All children raised into the muslim faith are pre-radical – they are on the path to martyrdom. They have been meticulously prepared to be turned into bombs.

The only way to stop it it to ban the practise of islam in Europe, to recognise the child abuse of an islamic ‘religious’ upbringing for what it is.

This is a war for our very civilisation. If we don’t start fighting soon it will be too late.

Beheadings are moreish, as England once knew well,..

I’d hope that’s a reference to the recent street beheading in our capital, rather than some fatuous historical false-equivalence.

    • Jackthesmilingblack

“Beheadings are moreish, as England once knew well,..”
But at least you could get a cold beer while watching.

    • Gordon Fraser

I’d just settle for muslim deportation, mosque closing and outlawing of Islam, I reckon that would be pretty moreish as well.

Hun, it’s a cult. Back in the olden days we had books like Go Ask Alice to put the frighteners on kids about acid.

Someone in the know should write a book about ; this would be a great way to spread the message.

I don’t think schools and government can solve these issues, the institutions are what these girls and boys are running from.

    • milford

None of them read books though they just stare like zombies at their pocket computers.

      • Patrick Roy

Yeah, there’s no place for narrative anymore. Not even the after school special…

I have often been accused of lying when recounting this story, but it is true. In 2010-11, I did a secondary school placement for the PGCE I was then studying as an intended career change (in my early 40s) in one of the grimmer parts of the West Midlands (specifically, in a school that was 85%+ Muslim). The boys and girls were gender segregated; boys sat at the front, girls at the back. The girls, almost all veiled, looked down at their desks because they had been told not to look at a man. I was told that I must never be left alone in a room with Muslim girls, walk behind them, or approach closer than two metres. The girls, almost without exception, sat in motionless and zombified silence. So, it should come as no surprise to anyone that there is fertile ground for recruitment to the ranks of those who would rather see us all dead.

“I have often been accused of lying when recounting this story”
Brits will frequently make the most negative assertions on zero evidence about someone they know nothing about. I attribute it to low self-esteem and an aversion to being up-staged. But bottom-line, resident-in-UK Brits are seriously obnoxious people.

What on earth does it take for people to realise that Islam is in no way compatible with Christianity or Atheist Majority countries. Will never be. People need to understand Islam is like no other religion what so ever. It really really isn’t, its followers will obviously say they are peaceful, because for them to say otherwise before they have large enough numbers to vote in Sharia Law parties to parliament. Because for them to tell us their true intentions and opinions, they would be signing their own one way travel ticket back to the Islamic “World”.

I am quite sick to my stomach of ISIS, of Jihad, of Islamism, of Islam, of anyone who has anything nice to say about Islam, and especially about our idiot chubby-faced PM – and more so of my inability to do anything of moment about it.

Teenage girls get crushes and at one time maybe half the female teenage population would have followed the Osmonds to the ends of the Earth – BUT the Osmonds were not on TV every night exhibiting their skill in beheadings and rape. There is no excuse for them.

The all have one thing in common. Far more easy to deal with.
They all attend the local mosque.where they larn this stuff.
The root of all this is their nasty cult.
This needs to be banned forthwith. Anybody who refuses needs to be deported.
Their nasty book, the Koran, is worse than Mein Kampf.
But the airhead journalist can’t get her mind round this simple fact.
Still listening to her brain dead journalist pals that islam is the “religion of peace”.
It’s just politicians/journalists/others who live in Lalal Land won’t admit the fact that their multicultural experiment has gone completely (and predictably) wrong.
And it will be a painful job fixing it.

Once the Jews, unbelievers and infidels have been destroyed, once the homosexuals have been rounded up, de-limbed and burnt, once the churches and synagogues have been blown up and the last enemies allah have been stricken from the world, the glorious Caliphate will come to pass and there will be peace.

      • Itinerant

Not forgetting the leftist activists who help the Caliphate into being, will be unceremoniously dumped.

    • Itinerant

      ‘a painful job fixing it.’
No current politician has the bottle to confront Islamism, they fear the almost inevitable, spectacular and violent over-reaction- so despite a few tough words here and there, they procrastinate- the problem only gets more entrenched and evermore harder to deal with properly.

After the beach massacre in Tunisia, the authorities closed down 80 mosques finding weapons dumps in 40 of them.

In the UK, when Finsbury Park was raided they found “gas masks, chemical, biological and nuclear protective suits, blank passports, hunting knives, and blank-firing weapons”, other mosques have been associated with terrorist training camps, jihadist networks and of course a variety of anti-Western, supremacist hate-preachers.

For many years being a ‘persecuted’ Islamist could be reason for asylum in the UK. (still appears to be the case)
This is why Philips penned Londonstan and the CIA expends huge amounts of time and money, tracking jihadists in the UK.
Combined with political correctness, mass immigration and capitulation to de-facto Sharia blasphemy laws, the EUrabian project and its progeny EurIslam, is of monumental stupidity and suicidal naivety.

It will need a police state to keep a lid on it all, one wonders if this wasn’t the intention from the start.

      • Harryagain

How about a link to all this stuff about weapons found in mosques?

The book doing the radicalising is the Quran with these three verses which must be deleted if kaffirs are to be safe. You can’t rationalise with those promised 72 virgins in heaven. Just google
