In what Donald Trump warns will be America’s most important election, we are seeing the extraordinary success of the heirs and successors of the old Communist party.
Using the fictional Newspeak language of Orwell’s masterpiece 1984, these far-left activists could well be described as NewComs.
While the opponent to Donald Trump is nominally Kamala Harris, she is, like Biden, no more than a puppet of a far-left circle guided by Barack Obama for the managed decline of the US and the West. This is to be achieved by the continuing appeasement of the Beijing-Moscow-Tehran axis.
From his presidency, Obama’s Middle East strategy has been to unwind support for Israel and release billions to an eventually nuclear-armed Tehran all the while disregarding the operations of its trio of terrorist proxies, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
The NewComs emerged when the core Marxist belief in the inevitable triumph of the proletariat proved unachievable.
A changed approach became unavoidable when any claim about the superiority of central planning imploded spectacularly during Boris Yeltsin’s unscheduled televised visit to a typical American supermarket in Texas.
Amazed that rank-and-file Americans had a far better product choice than even Politburo members, he conceded that if Russians saw this, ‘There would be a revolution.’
Despite this, the NewComs, who relish the freedom available in Western democracies, still plan to destroy Western civilisation.Their long march through the institutions, beginning in education, has been more successful than in their wildest dreams.
Ironically, their greatest success has been in the very countries that registered barely any electoral support for communism.
Despite one in four voting communist in France during the Cold War and one in three in Italy, it is in the Anglosphere where the NewComs are the most influential.
This is especially true of the US, whose universities are the home of the more deranged aspects of far-left NewCom ideology, including critical race and gender theory and climate catastrophism.
With the NewComs’ strategy to make education their priority target, we see how successful they are in destroying those Western countries whose politicians permit them to undermine school education, as is so evident in Australia. Once again, current Naplan testing has reminded Australia of the damaging impact of the far-left NewCom theory of education. Despite the ‘investment’ of $600 billion in the Gonski ‘reforms’, the result is still the same, demonstrated by the poorest performing state, Tasmania, pouring the biggest funding per student into education. Around one-third of students, through no fault of their own, are reportedly functionally illiterate.
In contrast to Australia, the world’s leading countries are educating in the way Australia did when I was a child. In a class of about 50 boys in a typical state primary school, we sat in rows facing the teacher who maintained strong discipline, aided by a cane doubling as a blackboard pointer. We learned basic matters, such as mathematical tables, the best way, by rote. Required to rely on memory, we could all spell and apply the rules of grammar. We weren’t robots, with the teacher encouraging discussion, often including a regular dose of current affairs.
On the basis of uncoached examinations and IQ tests, we were later sent either to a selective high school, a local high school or a technical school.
Apart from a very small school-wide problem group, every boy, whatever his future career, was literate and numerate. That was obvious from written work, reading aloud, answering questions, and working out mathematical problems on the blackboard.
We brought our own pens, blotters and books. Apart from splendid tuition and sensible discipline, the only things provided were ink and milk, too often left in the sun.Inspected regularly, schools were efficient, effective and run at minimal cost.
All this has been destroyed by the political class swallowing the alien NewCom ideology.
Despite it being long obvious that they were wrecking the future of generations of Australians as well as their country, the politicians have delinquently allowed this to continue.
Well into their last eleven years in power in NSW, the Coalition began a lethargic curriculum review which was applied under the succeeding Minns Labor government. That the Coalition has so long tolerated the far-left NewCom approach to education suggests the same ideological forces that have marched through education have also reached into the Coalition.
Returning to the US election, it is important to recall that a vast swathe of the American media and the polling industry has decided to be the mere propaganda and communication arm of the Democratic party.
Unfortunately, Australian news too often comes from, or is strongly influenced by, these biased sources.
Just as they did in the 2020 election, where information about the Biden family revealed in the famous laptop was falsely presented as Russian disinformation, the biased American media shows every intention of lying again to get Harris elected. To hide the fact that she was responsible for the incursion of over ten million illegal migrants across the southern border, there is a Ministry of Truth-style denial that she was Biden’s ‘border czar’.
Biden clearly appointed her, as Associated Press reported on 25 March, 2021, to ‘tackle the migration challenge at the US southern border and work with Central American nations to address root causes of the problem’. The biased media seem to be deviously hiding behind the fact she wasn’t actually named as ‘czar’, knowing full well, as Time magazine declared as long ago as 2009, that the term is essentially a ‘media creation’ and the White House ‘rarely even acknowledges the title’.
Meanwhile, the biggest danger in the US election is probably not that voters will be tricked by the media. The voters apparently see a greater danger. According to the reliable Rasmussen poll, a high 62 per cent are concerned that cheating will affect the outcome of the election, with 55 per cent believing it likely non-citizens are illegally registered to vote.
Is that one aspect of cheating the reason why the border czar was so delinquent in her duties?
