Flat White

Queen Elizabeth I was a woman

I’m old enough to remember when girls were allowed to reject stereotypes and just be themselves.

If girls wanted to wear frilly dresses and become ballerinas, that was fine. And if they wanted to wear overalls and work on car engines, that was good too.

But thanks to the regressive Left, those carefree days of women’s liberation are long gone.

In 2022, if a female behaves like a boy might be expected to behave, it is assumed that she is in fact a boy, trapped in a female body.

Quickly. Fetch the puberty blockers and bind that chest! We need to rescue the bloke from the female anatomy cruelly trying to swallow him whole

This was never more apparent than last week when a British academic made headlines claiming that Queen Elizabeth I was non-binary and that, if alive today, she would have used the pronouns they/them.

Trans-awareness trainer (yes, that’s a thing in 2022) Dr Kit Heyam claimed that Elizabeth’s famous speech to rally her troops against the Spanish Armada provided evidence she was non-binary.

Queen Elizabeth I is reported to have said:

‘I know I have the body but of a weak and feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a king, and of a king of England too.’

Dr Heyam, who has never heard of a metaphor, said living in a world where military leaders were almost always male would have had a profound impact on Elizabeth I and caused her to identify as non-binary.

On the other hand, this could just be a case of an academic making stuff up.

While it’s debatable whether the Virgin Queen was non-binary, we can be fairly certain she would have rounded up all the trans awareness trainers plying their trade in the 1500s and sent them to the Tower.

We should, however, thank Dr Heyam for demonstrating the inherent gender conservatism in the new gender identity ideology.

Essentially Dr Heyam would have us believe that people who do ‘manly’ things must be men and people who do ‘womanly’ things must be women.

This is why, along with Elizabeth I, the French heroine Joan of Arc was also categorised as non-binary by a new Globe Theatre production.

Are you understanding the Woke gender ideology now? All the strong women of the past were mostly guys.

Get women out of the history books and back into the history kitchens where they belong!

The Left cannot help themselves. They just keep erasing women.

Men deciding strong women aren’t feminine enough to be called women is peak misogyny.

We have gone from women being barred from positions in the public arena to now insisting that women successful in the public arena must actually be men trapped in women’s bodies.

Gender ideologues may identify as progressive, but this is not progress.
