The court of review in Britian last week set aside the 2020 Bell Vs Tavistock Divisional Court decision that persons under 16 were unlikely to be able to consent to the use of puberty blockers in the treatment of gender dysphoria. The overturning of the decision was not a ruling on the competency of a child to consent to puberty blockers, but on the appropriateness of a court of law to mediate in this area.
